The West end, like most of Lake Ontario, is caughing up some real quality fish right now.

We are getting our fish from 120' to 160', down mostly 60' to 85'.

Riggers are taking the most, with copper next. My wire divers have been really silent, which is strange, as they are usually my stud rods.

We took a mix of Kings, Lakers, and a million Coho - those things are freaking everywhere!

We are having a freaking blast with the light tackle....what a way to do it out there!

Spoons have been taking far more fish than flies (for us). Our best spoons have been Big Erns and Fishlander Big Ugly's. Haven't ran meat in years, however, I understand it is producing as well.

If you have a chance, get out there, and enjoy what Lady O has to offer.

Here's some photo's from the weekend. Monday was a bust, but the weekend was a blast!

Looks like you had another great weekend dude. That first laker pic is a slob!! 25lbs+?. I've found the exact same as you Steve. Spoons/riggers taking most bites so far this spring. Have only had 6 or 7 rips on the divers so far this year. Big Erns/Michigan stinger stingrays have done most of the damage so far. When we were fishing lakers on thurs a couple puked up some smelt? in the net which was the exact size of those stinger stingrays. caramel dolphin has been hot for us running the 12lb test ml rigger set-ups on short leads. Heard our mutual bud Scotty has headed back up north for another summer. Booked our site for august a couple weeks ago while scotty was out picking on Northerns. See you out there dude.

Great job there Steve. That laker is a pig. Lots of coho for us as well on Saturday out of Port Credit.
