Quinte Fishing

Finally got down for some fishing on sat. started at 7:30 at thompsons point 22 fow,TONS of 4-8 inch perch!!moved out to 30 fow more perch only a little bigger 8-11 inches(kept 5 )then around 9am the fish finder lit up with BIG marks landed a very fat 24"fish and missed a couple more!!perch stopped biting,off the ice at 10:30.sat afternoon off to deseronto fished by the rental huts missed a fish as soon as i got there then NOTHING talked to a guy on his way out to his hut and he said he has been doing very well the last couple of weeks!!and i did see them land a few just before dark.off the ice at 6pm with no other bites for me pimples and buckshot spoons tipped with a minnows,still can't catch a fish to eat!!all have been way to big!!oh well try again in may!!
