Has anyone ever fished the Larry out of Grass Creek Park (Hwy 2 kingston area)? I'll be heading out that way with the father in law this weekend in search of bass, GET THE PITCHFORKS!! Hahahaha, I mean walleye and pike and I'm looking for any helpfull info if you've fished that area before. I've not been anywhere near there and I'm not sure what to expect boating or fishing-wise.

Where Grass Creek merges with Batteau Channel, you will want to fish the deep weed edge 15-20 FOW for pike. Expect to see some > 10 lbs. and don't be surprised to come across some musky. Mitch

USA or Canadian waters ?
Bass opens 23rd in Canada, so i assume you mean the USA (they open 16th), lots of fish, lots of boats, lots of structure, old ship wrecks, shoals, etc. make sure you have a good map. Grass creek park is in prime musky area.
And don't get run over by one of the cruise boats, or bass boats running back at 70 plus mph.

Bonjours All

We put in at Grass Creek a month or so ago.
We went to the West end of Howe found a lot of very bad shoals.
We just cruised and visited friends.
Really looks like a great place to fish.
What about pickerel? Good area to fish?
The musky? Any time or late fall?

Any good areas East of ramp?

Would like to head out next Wednesday if anyone thinks it is worth the trip

Otherwise may head back to Second Depot for the morning.

Thanks all
Suds
