Quinte Fishing

Hey guys this will be my first time fishing Hay Bay for bass, I plan on taking my 9 year old son so I am hoping numbers more than quality. Anyways I plan on fishing east of Blakewoods, so if any of you have some general areas too fish you wouldn't mind sharing (not your hot spots) please share. Also I would love it if you could warn me of any unmarked dangers out there.

There are a few spots I have come across pickerel fishing that were a lot shallower than I expected, as well I came across a rock just below the surface of the water that wasn't marked. So please any tips or things to look out for would be appreciated. I want to make sure that we have a great time as I can rarely convince him to go with me. I guess video games are better than fishing for todays generation. My goal is to keep him so busy he begs to go out again.
