Neil Farlow and I were privileged and fortunate to win the Saturday Bassmania Quinte (Bay Only) Tournament Saturday and 3rd today, Monday, along with big fish 7lb smallie lunker today (Lake Open). Most importantly, we recognize this past week was a difficult one for our fishing community. We sincerely chose to dedicate our blessed finishes to Peter Thompson. I trust God gave him a chance to see the whole 82 boat field pause in the morning before blast off for a moment of silence while the bagpipe memorial music played across the water. Hats off to Bassmania for being so sensitive and supportive to a remarkable individual! A week to remember for sure.
Regards,
Tom Streek

Wow, that says nothing but good things for the csfl doing that.
Pete is missed by all that ever met him, just one of those great personality's that really stands out.

While I am not a "basser", I would like give kudos to tournament organizers for such a classy and heart-felt tribute to Pete. Bet he could hear the pipers from his new home. A very moving send-off to an important and tireless worker in our angling community. Well Done!!!

Bruce Elliott.
