looking for a vertical shaft and prop shaft for a 2004 bf 20 hp Honda short shaft,any one no where i could find them? tried a few places,one could not get them and the other$$$$ very pricey. some one on here must know another place to find them......... hitting a rock was bad but no motor on my boat sucks!........please any ideas please let me know,thanks Joe

Hey King what kind of damage did it do to your vertical shaft and prop shaft. You may want to consult with a machine shop and see if it can be repaired. I have fixed many of them as long as it is not to crazy the cost may be reasonable...

You can try your local UAP/NAPA store.
Ask to see the marine catalog. Not a fast solution though.
Sure won't be in stock at the store & most likely not in the Canadian warehouse either.
Expect 2-3 weeks delivery.

Check iboats.com, parts section. I've purchased parts from them in the past for about 50 cents on the dollar compared to Canadian prices. I got a warrantied power head a couple of years ago for less than the price of re-build parts here. Only catch is that some suppliers don't ship to Canada so if you don't have friends or family state side it's tough.

thanks guys,kijiji was a no go,waiting on boats.net to get back to me on shipping cost.$650 plus tax local and $293 online so unless the shipping is $350 i will go that way thanks again boys
