Does anyone know any info on this lake? I am looking for a place to fish and a shoreline to sleep at for a night this coming weekend. Or if any other lakes in the area with some crown land that would be worth a visit. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Dave

You have to pay to camp on Crotch Lake and many of the other lakes in the area. This website has more info.

There is a 4 wheeler/ snowmobile trail the goes behind Palmerson Lake Hotel that follows the river where it runs into Crotch lake , fish the pools at the river mouth , some good walleye fishing there at the right time , or fish the shoals at the south west side of the lake , cranks at night , yellow twister tails tipped during the day :D

I have had a hell of a time finding the eyes on Crotch in the past couple years. Seems to be getting tougher every year. There are lots of camp sites on the lake, but many if not all you need a boat to access. The Parklands website posted above by adventure has all the info.
