I wonder why the majority of fish affected tend to be carp and sheephead. The article states mostly shallow water species were affected but than would not bass, panfish, mudcat and gar make up a large part of the fish affected?

Noticed a bunch of dead sheepers on Lemoines Pt rocks this weekend while out for a walk with the family. Looked like they had died in the last day or 2.
