I have some irregular conversations with a number of people and am curious about what is going on with the hatchery in Napanee. The walleye should be spawning in about 2 weeks from the sounds of it.....so....what is happening? I would like to hear from some people that live in the area.

A lot of time, energy was spent in getting this operating......now....they will soon hopefully be operating again. What species? Anyone here thinking of volunteering? (they do need help...I do know that).
The hatchery is I think my favourite thing to do in Napanee, given that it involved fishing and helps give something...however small...back to both young and old and the region itself. It seems like it has been way to quiet for my liking in this area.......
Regards
Don Stokes
