Hi
I am hoping to fish the BOQ for the first time this fall.
Coming from Oshawa.
Any advice on when to come (month) and where to launch/park.
4x4 truck, 17 ft Lund

November.

Launch in picton harbour.

Trolling will produce the biggest fish. Deep crank baits (rapala td 11's, reef running 800 series and rapala trolls to 20's). Run them anywhere from 100'-250' back. Depending on when you come go east until you see boats or stay in picton harbour and work north towards long reach.

Purple hues are typically best.

Anywhere from late October to early December. But November is prime time. The rest is just being in the right area at the right time doing the right thing. Lol
