After stuggling abit early on my brother and I decieded to make the trip out yesterday for one last kick at it.
He fished last Sunday and had a rough morning but had a solid afternoon so we had a small idea what was going on. After spot #1 yealded 0 fish and 0 bites we decieded to make a move to where the fish were last Sunday we set our 4 lines up and took our first pass which was a solid one with 3 bites we pulled lines and ran upwind tweeked our program and mad pass #2 the changes proved to be the right ones 7 bites on pass #2 and it continued on like that the rest of the day we had over 30 bites 2 Lake Trout and the rest Walleye.
We can attribute our sucess to a the boat it would be really hard to run at 30mph in any aluminum boat in 3' whitecaps and the fact that we never sat back and waited for the fish to bite we never trolled into the wind and went through at least 50 different baits to find our deadly combo's
hot baits reefrunners in barenaked, chartruse goast and Blue Hawian as well as Husky jerks in white and pink deep divers 90-165' back shallow runners 250'-400' back
To those going out over the next bit before freeze up stay safe wear approprate clothing

Wow, over 30 walleye trolling on a day when others were struggling to get one or two. Did I get that right, you were trolling all day, or did some of those come from jigging? Almost sounds too good to be true. Law of averages would suggest a few must have been huge, what was the biggest of the day?

We verried our speeds all day they really liked it a bit quicker in the afternoon 1.8-1.9 we had to use bags to keep speed consistent without surging
