Just wanted to put a plug in for Quinte Battery
http://www.quintebattery.com I havent been out in my boat for a few weeks now and am headin for the trailer after work today, to close it for the season. Last night i realized I dont know how much gas I have in the boat and headed out to the garage to check. Turn the key to the first position and instead of the usual beep followed by the gauages powering up, I got nothing. No beep, no trim, no power, battery is completely dead! The on-board charger is then plugged in and it is not able to put a charge into the battery. After moving charger leads around to determine it is the battery and not the charger, it indeed is the battery. I figure i left something on in the boat. This morning I pulled the battery out and headed over to Quinte Battery where I had bought it this spring. Its a dual purpose (cranking and deep cycle) battery. He didnt have one on hand but did have a starting battery which he offered up right away to get me through the weekend and until the replacement battery comes in. Great service and service and service is king in my books.
