Thanks to all who participated in the Slam The Lamb. It was great to see so many familiar faces as well as new ones. The first place team who weighed 3 sheep tipping the scales at about 35 lbs were the boys from Montreal. Hopefully they will introduce themselves and tell us their secrets. Second was our very own Scott from West Lake Willows and his team. They were the only other team to weigh in 3 trophies. Team Lambshark took 3rd as we managed just 2 drum. There were many teams that took more walleye than sheep. The winds were stiff and it made things difficult. What a great bunch of guys we had participate. A great big pat on the back to the Champs as they donated their money back to pitchers of ice cold golden nector for those who showed up at Dave's Roadhouse. OK Champs, you are the baaaaaaaaaadest lamb slayers on the bay for the year. Enjoy! :)

Unfortunately we were not able to retain our title from last year as Slam the Lamb champions, but I had a great time on the water with my teammates Maple and Aadil. Great to see some old faces and meet some new ones.

Congrats to the winners and thanks to Landshark for organizing this again. Looking forward to the 3rd Annual.

Might see a few of ya when I am back down looking for walleye in a few weeks.

You'all were great to meet at dave's roadhouse. It was a pleasure providing the beer.
ps: We almost won last year but lost a big beast at the boat for a 3rd lunker.
Watch out for us next year -will share secrets win or lose but not planning to lose!

bill, les and russell -trois pechers (2 are actually from London and first time to Quinte)

and i attest that you did share your secrets...

i don't fish "serious" tournaments, as everyone is so freaking tight lipped. I always like to take something with me every time I fish, that way I can always become a better angler.

I appreciate the details you provided to me. I had a "hunch" but my "vision" was clouded due to day before's fish. I should have went with my gut.

Congrats again - your win was well deserved!
