At least you got out ! We were planning to fish the larry near prescott, but decided to stay local in case it got nasty, fished the Ottawa river, got about 35 walleye, all released except 4 eaters, bite was decent, biggest fish were about 4 lbs.best bait was slow death at 1 mph ish, got a pile of crappies tho' goin' that slow , lol, and some 5-10lb pike, actually got 4-5 pike to the boat on light mono, and a few instant bow ups and gondie pike.
Do you guys ever use artificial worms on the slow death rig?? (Gulp Alive) I find using live worms, the perch are all over it. I spend more time with my line out of the water changing worms, but when I use artificial, the panfish tend to stay away.
