Hit the water today at 7:00 and fished Thompsons to shermans. We ran reefs, TD11, worm harnesses with dipseys. Attempted to fish past the ferry and the wind had other ideas for us. Felt it was not smart to fight those waves and returned to Thompsons. We saw quite a few boats in there probably due to the water conditions past the ferry. The boat smells very skunky.

Cant wait to go out and do it again.

Great report Murny, thanks for the details. Looks like the wind will be the same for my trip tommorow...what size of boat were you in? I'm just wondering if Adoluphus reach (east of ferry) will be too bumpy for us?

I left Kingston this morning at 6:15 hoping the reach would be ok only to find it unfishable as well. Turned around, switched my gear over to bass gear and headed to Loughborough. I have a 16.5 ft and there was no way I was launching there. Note to self, NW wind means go somewhere else. Looks like Monday night and Tuesday will have good winds.

Fished loughborough several times. Bass up to 3.5. Pike broke the 7 pound mark. Nice dock and parking area

The fishing was decent that day. Boated 2 nice ones a 3lb12oz and a 3lb11oz. The others were all about a pound and half. I I get more big fish on Dog and Sydenham, or out on Lake O, but there are usually good numbers on Loughborough.
