Looking for walleye. Does anyone know if there are any in hay bay, if there are where they are located in context to ram island. Thanks for time and consideration :?:

I know there is one guy that fishes that area a lot and he has been doing pretty well, but he says they only hit consistent on one certain lure. You should send him a private message because he probably doesnt want to post it. His name on here is Grizzly, good luck let us know how you do

Always hopeful, most guys still seem to be in search mode, not alot of reports yet. I never fish Hay Bay so I have no idea where the fish are, should be atleast some resident eyes around. Best advice I would say is get out there, wet a line and try to find a few.

Always Hopeful , The Bay of Quinte has walleye from one end to the other if you spend a little time reading posts from the many experianced anglers here on the board you will be able to shorten your learning curve , There are many different factors to where the fish are hitting , most of all would be your skill level , the type of boat you use or not , water temp , water clarity ,bait available and the list goes on ,The waters from Ram island to Sherman's point will produce walleye all year round , find the weedlines that are receeding or look for bait along the contour lines in deeper water , I would suggest that if you are new to the area you hook up with one of the many guides on the bay , Scott at West Lake willow's has a weekend program that is available to teach the techniques used on the Bay and you will learn a hundred spot's to go to . Invest now and you will be able to reap the rewards for years to come or you can do like others and use the old trial and error method , Good Luck and welcome to the Board :D
