Fished the annual tournament out of Picton, started fishing out by the Ferry on Saturday fighting the NW winds lots of marks and bait as reports have mentioned. Nothing in the first hour then dipsy white bass my wifes first BOQ trip and she gets a bass in the crazy weather not a good sign. We managed one eye close to 5lb and couple drum for our efforts and a laker that was a surprise.
Sunday we did the same thing but the wife stayed home and trolled the North shore instead of the South set up our spread and again market tonnes of fish but a sheep came with in the first halve hour thinking things might be better this day. The winds where calmer and the boat was more manageable to control lots of marks in the 80'-45' temps 52 fished every lure in the box and ended the day at 2:45pm our day consisted of one silver bass, 6 sheep one in the upper teens, and 4 walleye largest 8+lb and the average 6lb. Seems like every year we are getting less and less fish, good luck to all cheers.
