My first descent day to report, launched at Gleonora Marina around 8;30 am headed east, set two line spread just past the ferry, trolled around east of the ferry for about an hour and half and nothing, headed further east first board fired off in about 80 feet of water, fish suspended 40 up to 20 feet. My first nice walskie of the season, 11.11 lbs, took a couple of pics and back she went. Trolled the same area then about half hour later the other board goes off, another nice one, 9.28 lbs, tooks some pics and back she went. Half hour later board goes again, this time I thought I might have a chance to beat my persoal best, line starts screaming off the spool, board goes under by about 3 feet, nice fight, get her landed shes only 8.35, more pics and back she went. Same thing all over agin about a half hour later another nice one 8.95lbs,more pics and back she goes. All fish caught on emerald shiner reef runner, 150 feet back, 1.5 mph water temp 42 degrees.
