Anyone fishing this island, have you ever caught any smallmouth or largies out there?
Just curious to find out.

its best known for salmon fishing but to answer your question yes there is bass there, also walleye at the right time of the year browns, raninbows, pretty much you name it it is there at different times of the year

Back in the day when we where teenagers, mid 60's to mid 70's we would litterly have a hay day with smallies all around the Island. Best on the south side. With the comeback of the double crested cormorant the numbers have been dramatically reduced. Lately caught the odd one while trolling for eyes but nothing like the old days. :D :D
