Hey guys , I'm a snowmobile newbie ( never even say in one before lol)
A few months ago, I picked up a 1976 elan250 bogie and have it ready to roll for icefishing . It's all tuned up, licensed, insured, towbar hitched ready to go. My understanding is this sled is not breaking any speed records but ate reliable little guys for icefishing to get you out with your gear.
My question: I'm assuming living in the city of Belleville you can not ride it on the streets . Is there somewhere for free in Belleville (or close by) that I can bring it to practice getting the hang of it while waiting for safe ice? I don't want to pay for a trail pass as I have no real intent on using it for anything other than icefishing . Thanks for any advice on where it any other tips for this green newbie to vintage sleds lol

Called the Belleville police on it. Kind of a grey area. If you live real close to a place you can ride it, they aren't going to bother you. If you have to go onto main streets to where you want to go , that's an issue .
