My fishing Bud - Laker and I headed out this AM at 0545 with plans to fish the North Channel.

It was raining slightly with a heavy mist, there was a stiff wind from the North-East.

We drove to Amherstview and along the shore and decided before we hit Jim Snow Drive that descretion was the better part of valour.

The waves wouldn't be getting any smaller as the day progressed. It would have been a miserable ride from Bath to the generating station, so we skipped the fishing for today.

According to Laker, who had checked the water temps in the Great Lakes from a Michigan site, the coldest water was around the Picton Area.

Wait til next time - Soon We hope.
