It was announced by Assistant Deputy Minister Peter Wallace that the MNR will move forward with the recommendation to create a Bay of Quinte Fishery Advisory Council. The terms of reference, by which the committee will operate, are now being drawn up. Earnie Parsons, local MPP, was on the radio stating that he hoped the members will be made of strong LOCAL representation.
