Arrived at Quinte around 5pm last Thursday. We got out on the water around 7:30pm, and decided to hit Telegraph Narrows. It turned out to be a good choice. My Dad and I managed to boat 13 walleyes, biggest being 25", the rest were pretty much between 17" - 22". Packed it in around midnight because they just stopped hitting after 10pm.

We put some effort in during the day on Friday, however, only had 1 hookup, which I lost right at the boat, looked like 12lber, I mean 7lbs. When evening came around, we decided to try the same spot we did so well the night before, low and behold, only managed 1 eye, around 23". We then jetted over around the cement plant area, its around 10:30pm at this time. Well turned out good, I caught 4, biggest being 28" and smallest being 23". Unfortunately, my dad got skunked, even though he was using the exact same lure and colour as I, tough break, and I let him know it.

Well, Saturday was pretty much like our Friday, nothing during the day, and only 1 at the Narrows during the evening, however, when we went by the cement plant area, this time my Dad caught 4, biggest @ 28", and I caught 3, lost 2.

I have to say, I was very impressed with how fiesty the eyes were, they were hitting hard, and fought even harder, even the small ones. I enjoyed this trip immensely. I was using a floro red spinner (strike king)during the day, Shad Raps at dusk, and HJ's at night.

Nice going Ted! Sounds like you had a great weekend. I think I'll be trying the deeper water at least once this coming weekend. I was looking for some for the frying pan this past weekend as I hadn't had a good Walleye dinner in awhile (my parents took all my fish the last couple of weekends  ) I'm missing the big hookups from the fall and need a fix before they all disperse back to the big water. You're right about the fish being feisty now as well. I had one 18 incher that I thought was a pike until I got it to the boat. Anyhow, nice to see the big fish are still lurking about.
