Only fished for a few hours on Friday and had one 4 lb pike and a 17 incher at the Mission. Tried by the ferry with no luck. Marked a TON by the south shore where the hatchery is(I think that's what it is anyways). It's where the water is about 70 ft. I've never had my fishfinder screen so full of fish it was quite encouraging. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get anything to bite there. Maybe the shad have come in early this year. They were stacked from 20 to 40 ft in 70 ft of water.

Saturday, had 3 between 14 and 18 inch and numerous perch in the 10 inch range. Fished the Mission and Sherman's Point.

Sunday, had 2 more 15 & 18. One at the Mission and the other at Sherman's.

Didn't fish too much this weekend as there was a party on Saturday and recovery on Sunday. Good to see the Fatman and his lady and some other PV residents.

You had to work for your fish this weekend, but the bite should be turning on soon as the weeds are really starting to come in. All fish were caught on the Orange Uzicks.

Anyways, back on the 25th of June for a 10 day holiday so hopefully the bite is on.

Tight lines all.

Ken

Hi Ken,
Coming up with the family mid July. How is the fishing at that time? Will the shads be around? Thanks.
