Last night weather was awsome so a fish was in order. On the way out a poor sole was thumbing with a sign "please take me fishing". Felt bad for the guy so stopped and picked him up. Boat in and nonstop action. 5 splake in the boat and many lost. A great evening out! Can't wait till the next fish.

I am jealous !

Where you fishing for walleye and caught them or where setup for splake ? and mind sharing the spots and lures used.

We're coming up from Ottawa this weekend and we have a cottage rented on Haybay...CAN'T WAIT !

Sorry but was nowhere near Haybay and don't think you will find any splake there.

lol....I did that forum newbie faux pas didn't I ?

Oh well...got little to show for at our last weekend fishing Friday and Saturday. Caught only 6 walleyes in the bay. Everyone was out there. Very windy weekend not many people at Des or in the Napanee.

Had fun but guess what ! On a storm coming in and a windy Saturday 6pm I learned something. If you recharge your battery on your 1 year old boat every outing you'll never find out that there is something wrong with your battery charging system. Luckily we were in the Napanee river, storm came in our trolling batter barely got us to shore for a welcoming committee that offered us a beer and a dock for the night ! A simple call and a ride pick up and we were happily back in the cottage. Thanks again Tom we owe you one, people in Napanee are so friendly.

Never an un-eventfull outing ! haha.
