Was out yesterday in the crazy wind....Fished in the Napanee River since the wind was so strong, ended up having our best day yet.....
5 pickeral total, two really small ones plus a 19,17, and 15 inch (all released). All caught on orange coloured uzick style spinners and worms with a piece of plastic worm tail tip,(Thanks for the tip HBL, seemed to work great!) All caught around or near the hydro lines. Also, got 2 nice sized pike, a few sheepsheads, and a couple of channel cats, one being 10 pounds..my biggest yet! All in all a very windy day, but the best fishing ive had this year! I always seem to do well when its really windy!
How'd everyone else do?
