Have heard some rumblings that the new Berkley Gulp bait may not be able to be brought into Canada from the states because it is not a true artificial bait.

Since this sounds (and smells) kind of fishy, since I would presume that Berkley also sells in Canada. Thought I would ask on the board and see what I can find out.

Thanks, makes sense to me. Had seen a post on Walleye First board that thought you might not be able to use them in Canada.

They are availuable all over and I have used a few times this spring (they work) The only problem with them is they are just like pork only worse. One ride down the lake with the bait left on the hook or jighead and they turn hard and loose their subtleness. If you leave them on to long they will bake onto your terminal tackle and its allmost impossible to get it off. I,ve heard if you moisten it in the water for awhile you can loosen it up enough to get it off your hook. To expensive and to timely for me, thought I would pass this on. Time to get a few ZZZzzz,s and kick some bASS in the early A.M. Good luck to all !

They were apparently giving free samples at one point recently too if you visited their web site. I'm sure if there was a problem sending them to Canada, they wouldn't have taken people's names from here. Don't you think?

Just a thought :!:

true,
I filled in the survey and got the samples about 4 weeks later in the mail.
One each of the worm, grub, and what they call minnows.(4) in total..free!
had the duty sticker on the envelope so guess it passed.
Put the worm on a harness in june and had a lot of hits, bit some of it off and got some perch.
I have seen them in stores.Pricey but less messy then live bait.
