Award presentation

Hi folks,
Just wanted to clarify to the QFS and all the anglers at the award presentation Sunday, Neil and I both had to get away early...prior to weigh in completion.
I understand that we ended up 10th with an award, but didn't want any misunderstanding in why we weren't able to be present to accept it. This may seem like a small issue to be concerned about, but we both have a lot of respect for the Association admin/members, and don't want to ever reflect a negative effect or impression.
Thanks for the continued commitment to a great series, and the opportunity to provide this brief explanation.

Sure wish there was a "like" or thumbs up option for a post...cause this is one I'd use it for.

Although I'm not fishing the QFS, reading it at face value, this is a great post, Tom.

Its summertime; and we as a committee when creating the schedule, our first concern was FAMILY and making a schedule that was balanced and the least impactful as possible.

It’s understood, Tom, that there are a lot of things way more important than fishing.

PS. I hope you didn’t have Jamie accept your award on your behalf……he’s probably broke it, spent it, or attached it to his boat by now.
