Quick Trip to Hay Bay

Just back from a quick visit to Hay Bay to quickly raise the dock as the water is up approx 1.5 feet, haven't seen water like that for three years wheh it rose over two feet and with heavy winds blew the c**p out of the docks.

The water was cold to the feet when we walked in on top of the dock,but we got used to it quickly.

Reports are telling that the Bay is full of shad and darkening the screens of the fishers out there.

The fishing has to get better - according to some it's terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the report,i have lost a section of our dock as well.

the reddog and family and ole blue and wife were up
15th to the 21st
lots of shad bait balls tough fishin
got a couple @ long reach across from green point
no size whatsoever to them
had a fine time - caught some fish -and a safe time up and the trip home
we saw 2 big gar swim past the boat about a foot under the surface
1st time ever !!
