Well..... I'll be headin up to Belleville (from Oakville) on Wednesday. Looking to do some shore fishing (dont have a boat :( ) with the brother-in-law.

Does anyone have any good spots for shore fishing?! Looking from anywhere from Belleville to Nappanee up to Clyone.

We fished right off Hwy 41 at the Clare river (about 40 min. north of Nappanee), and had a few bass.... and judging by the size of one of the strikes, and bit line, possibly the brother-in-law could have had a pike, or muskie on his line...

Any help would be greatly appricated!..... Fish dosnt really matter.... bass, pike, muskie, walleye.... dont matter!

Thanks,
Adam

Hi, I am new to this site.
Thought I would tell you about a site that I fished in Nov of last year.
I went with a buddy who goes there every year and knows all the hot spots.
There is an O.P.P. station right in the town of Belleville and if you follow the street they are on right south to the shore there is a pier and marina there.
I caught a Walleye there 13 lbs 9 ozs, I also threw back three over ten lbs.
We both caught over twenty fish in just over two hours.
I am told that this pier is great for eyes around that time of the year but unfortunately, I don't know about the rest of the year, maybe someone else on here has some info.
All my fish were caught on a clown coloured Husky Jerk at about 10:00 pm.
The water is pretty shallow in near the pier and apparently the eyes come in to feed here, there are plenty of zebra mussels near the shore so watch out for those.
I would post my pics but I am not sure how just yet. (I will post them soon)
Good luck and send a report so we can see how you did.
