Was miserable weather. 8O
Hit the water with AD29 EARLY saturday. Had 3 bites within 15 minutes right out front of the church launch in 12 fow dragging stickbaits slowly over the weeds, managed to land my first Quinte 'eye since opener:

Worked hay bay thoroughly for about 8 hours from Thompsons to Shermans, the entire north shore and ram island area in the wind, rain and waves and caught nothing else but lots of dink perch and silver bass. Tried shallow and deep minnow type baits and worm harnesses. Was nice to get out, but where are the walleyes hiding :?:

The walleye we found on the Long Weekend were in 10-12' of water. If you weren't in trouble with weeds, you weren't shallow enough.

We landed five that day 16-17-18-20-21 inches - all on Uzick Spinners.

Cheers

Good job boys but I bet when you first realized it was a Sheepie not a Walleye you used a different adjective to describe it.

HAHA ya JZ it wasn't "pretty" at that time...I remember we both actually laughed out loud once we saw what it was...it was a long tough day out there and we thought (after that early eye) that we finally found another!!! haha
