Just a shout out to a new tackle store in Kingston called The Brown Bear Tacklebox at 836 Development Drive. Small scale so far, but good enough selection. Owner willing to order in any product with deposit. Super nice folks. They have dace chubs/sucker minnows as well.

Good luck! :D

Ya I have been in a couple times, nice guy and the prices are decent. He mentioned that he is still adding stock so that is good. The minnows will be a bonus come ice time. If there are any fly fisherman out there it looks like he has a pretty good selection, I don't fly fish but he tied me up some custom bucktail jigs and they are solid.

I was in the store this afternoon and the owner, Bob and I had a good chat.

He's got some new Manns Stretch Plus 20's - several Blueberry Muffin with the new finish.

Glad to see a new venture, getting minnow in the winter on your way out of Kingston will help the ice guys.

I've been there a few times now. Always great people and willing to order whatever you're looking for.

I'm happy that we finally have a local "Mom and Pop" type store and will continue to support.

Cheers

Thanks for mentioning the store, just went in today and ordered a couple of items. Real nice folks. It's great to have someone who will order in salmon/trout gear in the Kingston area, its a really over-looked market.
