Due to the high wind forecast, I am looking at pushing the derby back. I would like input on a date. The derby is postponed, as safety is our biggest concern. It can be in prime walleye time

I think the lambs are just the bonus of fishing for the eyes. At least that's what i figured. Lol

Ya Monday is great for retirees but not so much for the rest of us! :) I think you would have to allow walleye if it's later! Good choice on the reschedule.

OK, I have chosen the 9th. This year we will include walleye along with sheep. Check in tomorrow evening for this years mixed bag format. Who is in?

OK all rules will be the same except for the scoring. It is now a 5 fish tournament. Here are the details. You will still receive 5 points bonus per fish. The goal is to bring in 5 fish. NO WALLEYE OVER 6 pounds will be counted. ( I hope everyone understands that this way we aren't killing a bunch of big fish) In your 5 fish box, you may have a maximum of 3 sheephead or 3 walleye. If you have 3 sheep, you would want 2 walleye to go with it (under 6 lbs) . If you caught 3 walleye under 6 lbs, you would hopefully have 2 sheepies to weigh in as well. Sheephead can be any size. Any questions? Suggestions? Opinions?

live release would be nice but hard to keep 35 lbs of sheephead and 12 lbs walleye in my small livewell.
Suggest we dont do a live release but I will surely try hard.bill

we do our best for a live release on the sheep, that's all we ask. if the fish aren't going to make it do not leave floaters in the picton bay harbor. We all have common sense on that. The walleye must be alive when weighed in but are welcome to become your dinner :)
