NEW GUY : Hello Everyone!!!!

Anyone been out on Bay of Quinte this weekend? I was out in Trenton October 5 it was 68 , and was in Brighton October the 12 and 13 and water was 66.7. Fishing was extremely slow and expected with such unusually warm temps but with this past week of nice cold nights I'm wondering what going on there. Was planning on hitting at Point Anns to the east of Belleville tomorrow but there calling for 20k winds and I've a list of things that need to be done.

The Walleye are running up the rivers, Hastings bridge is packed, Puff Ball road bridge is impossible to get on, and Lock 19 in Peterborough which i stopped by last night had some nice fatties sitting there. (No idea the water temps tho)

Cant find a place on the web for water temps, and found this site so figured id drop a line and hit the forums.

Thanks Keith

Water temp in the Trent river yesterday when I checked was, 46 degrees. False spawn is on (45-40 degrees is when they come in) and they are starting to come in now big time.

Government of Canada : marine web site has a marker buoy outside the bay of Quinte you can click on and get current info. Says its 60.8F. That's sounding about right. Rather hear from anyone but the government, lol.

47.5, that's getting more like it. Should be seeing them coming in now then I'm guessing. How was your day out there today?

I tried one last BOQ bass fish on Sunday Oct 27. Water temp was around 46-47. Marked fish under/around bait balls in a couple spots (bait at 6-10 FOW over 15-20 FOW). They weren't bass. I didn't catch any but I'm assuming walleye?
