Forecast is for 20km/h SW winds and not sure if I should drive 3h and have to return because it is too windy. Please let me know if I should go tomorrow.

Thank you

it will be a little lumpy but very fishable with a 16 ft or better.

Look at windfinder website and determine the direction of wind and if things look hairy when you arrive, have backup plan to head for more sheltered waters. Don't always trust km/hr forecasts, I've gone out when it was predicted to be 10 km/hr and found myself in whitecaps!

What size is your boat, and where do you plan on launching??. You should be able to fish somewhere out of the wind, but travelling by water could be an issue if you're in a smaller boat.

Best of luck out there if you go. We are heading down early in the morning from Ottawa launching in Picton, figure it will be a bit bumpy but with all the shoreline you can usually find somewhere to fish out of the wind, just might be rough getting to your spot, depending on where you launch from.

Off to load up the boat!!!
