Buddy and I launched from Prinyers at sunrise saturday morning.
I felt pretty save as both of us were in dry suits and him in a Hobie
PA 14. 2 guys can pretty well walk around in that thing!
We headed towards the Bat Cave, seeing lots of shad and gull action but no fish.
Once near the cave the wind picked up and buddy lands the first one.

Then I loose one , land one, buddy lands one ,

then I get a pretty good one , 29 1/2" , 10lb 4 oz

We then had an easy paddle with the wind back to Prinyers, and picked up a few more on the way.

Once back at Prinyers, I talked to another buddy and he's catching em close to the launch.

It was a real epic day, with buddy in the Pro Angler going 4 for 7.

And me going 4 for 10.
I lost 6 fish !! That's what happens when working in a small cockpit, working 2 rods, and have been up since 2 am. Can't complain, Quinte really showed its magic to us, but I'll be replacing some trebles for next time.

Eagle Eyes Flash

( aka Brent  )

Hey Brent! Didn't realize that was you but we passed by ya later in the day on the water. Black Lund tiller.

Saturday was a banner day out, my buddy Luke and I going 17/20 with 16 eyes, three over 12lbs.

Awesome results for you and your buddy too though, and what a helluva way to chase Quinte eyes. Must take a good bit of stamina and care to push a YAK through an entire day, run two rods, keep warm and handle fish. Great stuff.

Nice getting a comment from one of this sites vetrans, tks BigMac.

Chris; love your reports too, especially the big pictures.

Bunk: We noticed a black lund doing extremely well, double hook-ups and all.
( That funny looking rescue john boat did well , getting a few of
those 12 lb year class too  )

Killer: Go get em . :)

Its very peaceful in a yak if not too windy, absorbing the scenery, ducks and all.
Paddling not hard at walleye speed, and I get a rush working my cranks with a paddle. :)
