Well I arrived at bayside launch at 3pm this afternoon and walked straight out to 15 fow. There was 5-6 inches of good black ice, covered up by 2-3 inches of ice and slush. I got a few perch in the first hour then I landed a nice 4lber for the dinner table at around 430. That was good enough for me, I packed it in shortly after as I had to make the drive home in this shitty weather. If your planning on going out definatly do not go without cleats on!!! Its slippery as hell out there, I seen a few guys go down! Fish came on a firetiger jiggin rap
Cheers

Its weird to me cause ive never seen firetiger jiggin raps so effective. That all that has worked for me this season so far. Heck, I even had a biggie hit one while it was unattended at 5 feet below the ice with no minnow or anything on it.
