Another good night
put 4 one the ice, lost one at the edge and marked a bunch more.
Lots of people out between Belleville and Trenton. Should be lots tomorrow with the warm weather.

Cheers
Jeff

Also had an excellant 1st outing, landed 8 of 10, lost 1 big pig.
Kept my limit to get things going freezer wise. All good eater size 2 -4 lbs
I was closer to the Trenton end and stayed away from the crowd.
Gold Mr Champs did most of the damage and even got 1 on a deadstick with a jigging rap while I was adding bait to the other line.
Going back for the morning.

My 3 favourite tools for fishing down on the Bay are ATV, Navionics on my phone and my flasher. I'd be lost without them now.

I was near Trenton as well

I agree with your tools of the trade, I was getting bit on anything gold, side winder, More minno ( must be something with females liking gold) my Navionics app and my Humminbird 35. I was showing a buddy of mine who had never seen it work.
We had one come in and follow the hook up and down the water column through 5 feet of water for about a minute.

I had a good morning on the ice with 6 landed, 2 lost at the hole and 2 missed hooksets and many many lookers. Most came on a gold/orange cleo. Was able to coax a few off the bottom to follow my bait all the way up and bite 2 ft below the hole. I had one follow me all the way up but shoot off 3 ft from the hole and at the exact moment it shot off, a rocket 3lber exploded from bottom to nail the bait which was still 3 ft from the hole. I was fishing in 15 ft of water. I luv fishing with electronics.
