Last night I had a great night, caught 8 altogether, nobody within 200 yds. This morning I went back to the same spot and followed my tracks back out and noticed a small village in the area I had fished and a permanent hut parked right on top of the holes I had drilled the night before.
I can only assume that others had watched me pull in the fish last night and decided to move in on this spot.
I will be more careful and much less expressive when I do get into them again, once I find a new honey hole.

If there is a hut that goes to the same spot morning and night or night and morning people knows you are catching fish, the only thing a hut is good for is to keep you warm and out of the elements.

In the days of the Klondike Gold rush you were expected to share information, good and bad. This saved other from hardship and shared in the good fortune. There were other "gold rush" adventures were it was every man for himself and no one looked after each other. You should be happy that you made it possible for someone to go home with a fish today. The Bay belongs to everyone.

Oh it doesn't really bother me, lots of fish and spots to go around. I talked to him for quite a while, great guy.
I'll just use the navionics and experiment a little.

My icehut is between Big Island shoal and Horse Point. It's a brown box with a truck cap on it. Please feel free to fish as close to it as you like. I don't observe the 100 foot rule. There is no fish there, none that bite anyways....haha

Walleyed assassin I like your style I get some people like to fish alone but there are plenty that like the company of others and to trade secrets and knowledge

I don't mind sharing my spot or tricks as long as sombody does it the right way and asks if you mind fishing along side of them not just come up and drop a line down the same hole as you at the same time as you are fishing it lol

Lets just remember we are all here to have a good time and catch a few fish while were at it

Terry

I love it when a guy comes up and drills 10 feet from me and I out fish him 10-0 what I really really hate is when a guy sets up 100 foot away and out fishes me 10-0 lol

I don't mind anyone setting up close and fishing but it's these dick heads that come out set up, jump back on the 4 wheeler and run back and forth to shore every 10 minutes. That annoys the hell out of me. What are they doing, bring everything out one piece at a time? Come out, sit be quiet, and fish. :x
