Quinte Fishing

I'm heading down to Merland Park at the end of the month with my wife, dad and mom and one of our boating friends and his wife.

I've heard the fishing is approx 3 weeks behind schedule due to this years weather. Should we be crankbaiting or slow trolling with the uzicks or both? I do have a few Uzicks along with some Erie Derie's?
What is the set-up for the uzicks?

I've been to the bay but most of our success was when we were ice fishing. I have been to Hay Bay a few times last year but mainly tageted Bass and pike, however I did manage to get out last January 3 with Kevin and the Mann's Stretch 20's were hot.
