Well there I was slushing the holes out and plop there goes my Iphone into the hole, luckily it landed on the scooper, but then when I went to grab it, it slipped off and went the rest of the way down.

It must have called in the fish because my buddy and I got 4 tonight. 1 for him (a hog) and 3 nice sized fish for me.

After dark my buddy says, hey I can see your phone. It's sitting on the bottom lighting up then shutting off, lighting up and so on. I am going to make an attempt to retrieve it tomorrow but am not holding out too much hope that I can get it and that it will work if I do.

That's wild. Hope you can somehow catch it. If ya do retrieve it stay there all night cause that's a trophy hole. Im notorious for losing stuff down holes. Not a cell phone but Im sure I will some day.

4 all together swannie in 12.5 FOW
I lost 1 which would have gave me my limit and Willy got a big pig and lost 5 more.
The last 1 I caught followed up within 4' of the ice before he would commit.

Not much use for a phone but I do keep a magnet in my hut at all times. My friend gave it to me, it's from a microwave & very powerful. Last year I got snagged & broke off a hopkins spoon under my hole. I tied the magnet to my line lowered it down & managed to get he spoon back. It's also rescued my ice scoop once when it went down the hole. No good for iPhones but handy all the same!

Tight lines

Ok that's it. I'm going to borrow an aqua-vu and get that sucker back this weekend. I just needed to see that video, thanks. Wish me luck.

The phone may never work again, but it has a brand new otter box that will work on my next iphone.

lol I dropped my iPhone twice on Saturday in less than 30 seconds, bounced around between the holes each time before I kicked it out of the way!!! LifeProof is great, but the floater attachment is pure money!!!!
