Quinte Fishing

I was asked to post this as an FYI to folks. The MNR are conducting a winter creel survey on the Bay of Quinte. First on-ice survey by field crew is scheduled for today. Aerial flights (small aircraft) to count anglers and huts started last Friday. Survey will continue to March 1. Objectives of the survey are to measure total fishing effort, walleye harvest and walleye catch rates (fishing success). Also, If you havent handed in your fall fishing diary could you please do so ASAP.
