Anyone know any areas on the bay that we can get into crappie through the ice. Would love something near massassauga point or Pete's point area. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Glenn Ross, lock number 7 of the Trent Severn is an awesome spot. Fish the bottom side of the boat channel. Fish about 20 yards from the lock gate itself. Make sure you walk on 20 yards from it as the wood of the gate warms up the ice with the sun shining on it and there is a run off right there too. Lots of ice 20 yards from gate though. Go there early morning well before sun up or just before dark and stay a few hours after dark. Don't go out any farther as the pike cruise the channel too but usually don't come in that close. I usually use a tear drop, blue or green in colour. Tip it with half a minnow or a maggot. Try using a slip float. Makes it a bit easier in the dark I find. I've left there many times with over a dozen beauties. A few in the 12'-14' range!!
