Walleye dreamer, pike-hunter and giddy (may have spelled last one wrong), I'd like to thank you 3 for the help you provided via pm's and on the ice in person, you were all helpful and I appreciate it a lot.

Today was day 2 of 3, I fished county shore in the morning and landed one perch, then on advice from one of the helpful ppl the evening I decided I'd take my nephew to hay bay. We fished 14fow, I was cranking hard on a clackin rap as my nephew was using a small Swesish pimple. Tipped with minnow head. Around 5pm I seen a green line fly towards my lure then it disappeared, my little nephew then noticed on his underwater cam was a walleye looking at his lure... He lifted the jig an inch and his first ever ice fishing walleye was finally landed. Tomorrow I gotta pick another spot before do the 3hr drive home, hopefully I too can finally ice my first walleye on ice fishing. Again thank you to everyone that helped.

That's awesome right there! You could always try out from Sherman's launch tomorrow, we usually do well there in 24-26ft and you don't have to walk too far. Good luck!

Lol yes you did Simon I remember you saying it now lol thanks a lot for telling me how to get to the spot. Husky is Sherman's the one near hay bay? I think I trolled there in the fall few yrs ago. Is the ice nice and thick there ? I'll try it and do same set up and if the bugger gets another walleye he's switching to the clackin and I'll be using the small Swedish pimple lol

Yes it's in hay bay just further west towards the mouth on the north shore, I believe it's on the map of spots at the top the page.

I found it on my "hot spots" map, i am guessing the "adolpholus park" is the launch. Thank you, we're gonna give this spot a shot tomorrow before heading home.
