hey there fellow fishing peeps we have not been out since last Saturday am we where wondering how the ice handled the rain and warm conditions we are not looking for any one spot but just in general an over all condition of the bay of quinte thanks so much for any info

From what I've seen the last 2 days down Trenton way is that its alittle harder to get on the ice safely and once on there is some water on the ice, but not as much as the weekend. Some of the holes have opened up, but there is still quite a bit of ice.
I haven't had much luck since Sat and will be moving around some this weekend looking for some more depth.
The ice is very slippery and I'd recommend cleats if you have them.

I measured 14" straight out off Herchimer in Belleville yesterday. Watch out for the manholes if your heading out.

wounded aint lyin the ice at herchimer is PLENTY thick...my whole auger was in ,had to extend the handle to get through...there is alot of old holes so watch that...good luck out there guys..im off all week so ill be hittin er up
