Hit Glenn Ross, lock number seven of the Trent Severn. If you want quantity and potential quality size fish the mouth of the channel on the down stream side of the lock. If you want quality, fish the upper channel about 100 yards west of the old swing bridge. I do very well there every year.

Just want to say that this Fishing Magician guy seems to be quite a stand up guy!! Pictures, without blackout, of a couple great fish, and details about exactly where to go! I will caution you though on giving such great reports...Apparently if you tell, and don't black out your pictures, there will be no fish left at that spot the next time you go....just what I have heard lol......Awesome to have a young guy like you on the board, and willing to share!!!

well unfortunately I dont know of any great spots around BOQ. But the drive to Crowe Lake may be worth it for you if youre looking for pike. Otherwise I got one last year at Big Island, but hot exactly a "hot spot". Good luck!

Hey thanks for the shout out and no problem. I want to see everyone do well. Hunting and fishing kept me out of a lot of trouble when I was younger. I am able to tell people about a few spot as they get pressured heavily not only through the hard water season but as well as the soft water season and people still do very well there. Not too worried about it getting fished out in the near future. As for spots on the bay, you can't look at my pictures and go out and find my holes. If you do, I'd like to shake your hand and tell you to go buy a lottery ticket. I have a hard time finding my holes from the night before sometimes. It's just plain foolish to be blacking out the backgrounds. People should be focusing their efforts more on fishing and locating the big ones instead of sitting on their computers and painting cute storm clouds in the background. If some one is in my holes I simply head to another one of my spots and sometimes do even better there! Check out this pic of the wife. She caught a new personal best same night I got my 12.3. Hers weighed in at just over 6. Both were released for the future generations to enjoy!

Try this spot too! The shoal is about 6' deep right now, but if you set up just south of it you'll find 10'-12' of water and a beauty weed line! The blue pin marks the spot!
