Quinte Fishing

Hi there,

Im a new member, moved to Belleville for work from Windsor, loving the many fishing\backpacking opportunities up this way so far and looking to attempt to catch some trout through the ice for the first time. Actually it will be my first trout altogether. I have fished the detroit river\lake st clair\lake erie area and some lakes in the kawartha regions while vacationing as a kid. Recently have been getting more serious about fishing and have been out quite a bit catching some walleye on the BoQ, now im looking to change it up a little bit and head up towards bancroft\frontenac region for some trout. I have been looking up many lakes up that way but am having a hard time narrowing my choice down. Im up for any type of trout and prefer lakes that are closer to Belleville, any advice would be great. I fish mostly with my girl but I like to fish a little (alot) more then her so we could possibly meet up and fish some time if anyones interested.
