Is anyone out there fishing straight out from belleville, say just east of the river mouth? how thick is the ice there??

I have to imagine you have over 10 inches there. You guys have had colder weather than us down here in Lincoln and St.Catharines and we have 9 inches pretty much everywhere. Of course don't take it for granted and check the ice frequently.

Measured 18" of ice off of Herchimer last night. Won't be long and I'll need an extension on the auger! :D
