What's with the culling equipment rule ? What are you supposed to use ? If 99% of what we use is outlawed ?

Hey Aquasport, there are other options out there to weigh fish without using the piercing style of clips. Berkley makes some heavy duty culling clips for example. You can weigh your fish in a Bag-em set up as well. Here is a link to an article and a review:

http://www.bradwiegmann.com/tackle/acce ... ag-em.html

All CBAF events have a non-piercing rule....

Cheers, hope to see you there this year!!!

So the pay structure is big fish per hour for 1000$ ..... Or something else? I'm not sure if I am just reading it wrong or if I am missing something.

Thank you

Honeybadger you can't start fishing till 07:00 but the idea is that you can be at your first spot by then, helps eliminate a a blastoff.

Fishermandan yes the pay out is $1000.00 per hour for the biggest fish each hour and $500.00 for second biggest and so forth

Hope this helps

I heard the rules might be adjusted to include a youth angler (3rd angler) this year ?

I'm sure a bunch of people on the board fish this. Do you guys see all types and sizes of boats out there? Next year I plan on purchasing a larger boat but right now all I have is a 14 aluminum and we use a large cooler with areator installed as a live well. I would love to fish this but want to make sure we meet the requirements.

Would it be possible for someone to post an updated list of entrants? I sent in my entry form and cheque a while ago and just wanting to ensure it has been received and we are entered before May 1st.

Thanks,

J
