I was out there Saturday and didn't catch a single thing. There were some rather deep snow drifts, and the snow right off the shoreline was also deep. It may have cleared a little with the blowing wind, but hard to say. Guess it also depends on whether you are walking out or riding out.

If you do head out, all the best.

Went to County Shores on Friday night for the first time in 15 years. Wife is very friendly and the store looks great. Everthing you need for fishing is available.
Fished directly in front of the store @ the red can marker 50 feet from the marker towards the bridge. Got one two pounder and marked a few on the flasher. Lots of snow but it can be done. Good luck Sandy.

Was out at Big Island today, and man that was a haul- 12" of slush in places and only got worse as day went out. Watched some folks get stuck in their snowmobiles. The wind was horrendous and I couldn't even set up my hut- tie down screws would have been submerged in water. Where there were snowmobile tracks there were small rivers by the time I packed it in. Hopefully with the colder weather coming it will freeze up. If you are going on foot, I'd suggest snowshoes just in case- they really helped me out a lot today. Fish wise, I didn't catch any eyes, just a couple of jumbo perch.
